25 September 2010 was one of the most important dates in the history of the Sobienie Królewskie Golf & Country Club. On that day, the opening ceremony of the links-type nine course designed by the English studio Jeremy Ford Golf Design Group was held.

After the ribbon was cut by Jerzy Szymański, the founder of the project, a driving range with 19 covered tees, grass platforms and a 3-hole PAR3 golf academy, each 70–128 metres long and featuring women’s and men’s tees, were commissioned, as well as a practise green and chipping area with a large sand bunker. Two important Sobienie Królewskie Invitational tournaments took place, featuring prominent guests from the world of politics and sports.

The following players earned podium results of the Sobienie Królewskie Invitational:

1st place – team composed of: Michał Wójcik, Robert Niewiadomski, Robert Kusiak, Lech Chodzeń

2nd place – team composed of: Jakub Wierzbicki, Mariusz Czerkawski, Rafał Podkański, Jerzy Czaplajewicz

3rd place – team composed of: Robert Kasprzyk, Viacheslav Aleshkevich, Jacek Socha, Marek Smolach.

On 27 June 2012, after less than two years, a PAR71 championship 18-hole golf course was formally opened. The inaugurating strokes from Tee 1 were made by Jonathan Davison, Mariusz Czerkawski, Jerzy Dudek and the 10-year-old Alehandro Pedryc. This was followed by a picnic with many attractions, including the Sobienie Invitational, a tournament which inaugurated the course. Prize winners of the Sobienie Invitational inauguration tournament:

1st place – Michał Poniż, Grzegorz Zawada, Piotr Roberek

2nd place – Jan Morański, Dariusz Bobiński, Ewa Geritz, Brygida Morańska

3rd place – Jerzy Dudek, Mariusz Czerkawski, Marek Michałowski, Jarosław Sroka.

The event was attended by a number of prominent guests, including the Ambassadors of China, Japan, Kazakhstan, Vietnam and Mexico, Staroste of Otwock, Polish Senator and honorary President of the Polish Golf Union, Andrzej Person, who hosted the whole ceremony, Jerzy Dudek, Mariusz Czerkawski, Tomasz Iwan, Piotr Świerczewski, Andrzej Strajlau, Henryk Apostel, Krzysztof Diablo Włodarczyk, Mateusz Ligocki, Krzysztof Materna, Wiktor Zborowski, Tadeusz Drozda and many, many others. During the inauguration tournament, President of the Polish Golf Union, Marek Michałowski, managed to score a hole-in-one on the 9th hole from 156 metres! The prize was donated for a charitable purpose.

27 June 2012 was also the opening date of the clubhouse, which, apart from a spacious restaurant, houses a proshop, a locker room with personal lockers for the club members, a cigar lounge with a billiard room, trolley rooms and patios overlooking the golf course. The excitement mounted with a fireworks show and an aerobatic routine performed by the Żelazny group. The guests were also shown round the newly opened Sobienie Królewskie Golf & Country Club Hotel, situated 2 km from the golf course.
